Endogas or Nitrogen-Methanol?

A technical and economic comparison between an endogas generator and an atmosphere produced from nitrogen and methanol.

Both solutions can provide suitable atmospheres for heat treatment. The correct choice must consider required flow rate, consumable costs, operating continuity, gas composition and production flexibility.

Technical comparison

A nitrogen-methanol atmosphere is produced by mixing nitrogen with vaporised methanol to obtain a composition similar to endogas. An endogas generator instead produces the atmosphere continuously, mainly from natural gas.
